Issue No. 01 — A studio for the everyday wardrobe

Getting dressed
should feel like
self-expression,
not arithmetic.

Happier Style is a small studio designing AI-native tools for the most intimate creative practice most of us do every morning: deciding what to wear. We start with software. We start with your closet.

Manifesto

01

We believe a closet is
a record of who you are
becoming.

Most of us own more clothing than any generation in history. We also spend more mental energy than ever wondering what to wear. The friction isn’t in the wardrobe — it’s in the gap between what we own, what we remember, and what fits the day in front of us.

Happier Style is a studio dedicated to closing that gap with software that respects the personal, often poetic, relationship people have with their clothes. We don’t want to sell you more. We want to help you love what you already have, and dress with a little more intention.

Our tools are AI-native — not because the machine should decide for you, but because it can finally do the patient, unglamorous work of remembering. Cataloguing. Noticing the rain in tomorrow’s forecast. Holding the calendar in mind. Leaving the taste to you.

No. 01

AI Closet

A digital wardrobe that thinks the way you do.

Photograph what you own once. AI Closet tags it, organises it, and — when you ask — recommends outfits for the day, the weather, and what’s on your calendar. Ingest once. Reason textually. Wear the closet you already own.

  • Ingest once with on-device camera batches.
  • Vision-AI auto-tagging: colour, category, season, formality.
  • Context-aware recommendations — weather, occasion, calendar.
  • OOTD log: a quiet record of what you wore and why.

In the studio.

We’re prototyping the next chapter: tools for stylists, capsule wardrobes that learn over time, and a quieter way to shop only what fills the gaps. If you’d like to hear when it’s ready, write to us.

Principles

How we design.

i.

Help, don’t replace.

The most personal thing about a wardrobe is taste. Our tools do the remembering and the noticing; the taste stays yours.

ii.

Ingest once.

Heavy work happens at the edges — when a garment first enters the closet. Daily use should feel fast, light, almost weightless.

iii.

Less, not more.

We build for the closet you already own. If we ever recommend buying, it’s to fill an honest gap — not to sell you a feed.

iv.

Quiet by default.

No streaks. No outrage. Just a small, beautiful tool you reach for on the way out the door.
